How long does the PowerBank last?
The integrated PowerBank can run the Chill with cold drinks (42°F) on one charge for 14 hours at an outside temperature of 80°F. Generally, when using our Flex Solar or Solar Table, you can maintain charge in the battery.

How much electricity does it use?
The Chill uses only about 40 watts when the compressor is running. The compressor cycles on and off depending on three main factors: 1) your pre-set temperature 2) the temperature and mass of the contents inside 3) the outside ambient temperature See the ‘Powerbank Runtime’ graphic above for more details.

How does it work?
The GoSun Chill works similar to your household fridge, but much more efficient. A brushless compressor circulates refrigerant through a condenser coil (hot side) and an evaporator coil (cold side) which is embedded in an insulated chamber.

Can I power the Fusion with the PowerBank?
We have built our products to be compatible. The same PowerBank that runs the GoSun Chill can power the GoSun Fusion for cooking at night or during heavy clouds. To charge, the PowerBank can draw energy from a solar panel, car, or traditional power supply. Note: the final reward category is a complete off-grid kitchen solution!

Can I use my Chill in my car?
The GoSun Chill is able to be powered by typical 12 V cigarette ports in the car, boat or RV or with the portable PowerBank. It can also be run with the included AC adapter. The Chill has three modes for battery protection to prevent depletion through an integrated LVD (low voltage disconnect).

Can I order multiple products with my pledge?
We work to provide the best pricing and package combinations, but we can’t make every imaginable combo. There will be an opportunity to purchase additional units and accessories during the Add-on Survey sent out before delivery.

Can I ship a double order to multiple locations?
Our logistics are good, but not that good. You’ll have to receive both units at one address or make two separate orders, perhaps using two logins.

Does international shipping cover VATs?
GoSun has backers from all over the world, and shipping fees vary from country to country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. For this reason, the international shipping cost typically does not cover VATs but only covers the cost of delivery to the address provided.

Yes, GoSun will be sending out an Add-On Survey after the campaign and before shipping. This Survey will offer great deals on accessories.

How long does it take to charge the Powerbank with the solar panels?
This is definitely weather dependent and it will help if you’re able to adjust the solar panel to be perpendicular to the sun every hour or so. Under full sunlight you should be able to recharge a delepeted battery in three to four hours.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
